Im really use to 240hz gaming so Tarkov change of pace at like 120 fps on lighthouse and 100 fps on streets feels so bad to me lol. I find that vertical sync helps a ton with making my picture look like butter again, you should try it, but obviously at cost of latency, I understand v-sync has a little more latency in general but on top of that ...And as if these weren't troubling enough, Escape from Tarkov players say ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) that the Lighthouse map has several performance issues ranging form FPS drops to stuttering. The issue seems to have surfaced after the 12.12 update that was released a few months ago.Tarkov has a pretty low fps bar as it is only a couple maps you could get over 100 frames but this week I have a 30 series and Im barley pushing 60fps on customs. Look at some fps guides on YouTube and just wait it out servers are falling apart right now so it’s hard to tell weather it’s your computer or bsg fucking with your frames.

Hello, ever since I have replaced my computer and started playing tarkov I have been getting the same FPS I have been getting on my older PC, 40-50-60. Sometimes even worse drops to 30 in maps like Lighthouse. This has stopped me from playing Tarkov, but I do think there might be a solution. My fps still drop while using scopes, but instead of dropping to 30fps (when i was playing with a 60hz monitor and v-sync on), now they drop to around 50/60 fps with a 144hz monitor. Game runs at around 80/90 fps. Buying a 120/144hz monitor is to avoid having screen tearing when you disable v-sync on EFT. I've done everything I can think of to tweak FPS. Using Process Lasso, overclocking CPU to 4.9GHz stable. Almost all ingame settings are low except for running TAA and High textures. This is at Medium textures, Low shadows, everything else mostly off, on a 3080, i7-10700KF, 32 GB RAM. Just imagine Streets, man. I have i7-8700k at 4.3Ghz, gtx 970 and 16GB ram, i have between 60-75 fps on lighthouse and no stutters at all, i have all graphic settings on lowest except texture on medium.This time, I switched the resolution from 4K to 1440p, and my render latency instantly dropped down from 70ms to 9.9ms, along with a 34% improvement to average framerate. Not performing exactly as before, but extremely playable with that decreased render latency. This game has a lot of kinks to sort out. 1.
